Ecuador highlights include iconic cities like Quito and its most popular sites of visit.

The Otavalo Indigenous market, the largest in the continent as well as Peguche and Cotacachi knowns from its weaved and leather goods.

An overnight stay at the Karanki Magdalena Community and a train ride from Ibarra to the Afro-Ecuadorian community in Salinas.

On the way to Baños, admire the volcanic landscape until arriving to Cuenca, one of the oldest cities in the continent and to visit the Cajas National Park.


Day 1: Quito or Guayaquil

Arrival any day – transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Quito (B)

Colonial City Tour & Middle of the World: bustling streets and squares of the largest historical old town in the Americas, a multi-ethnic, artistic and cultural heritage destination.

Visit the “Middle of the world” situated at 0º0’0” latitude.

Day 3: Quito – Otavalo – Cotacachi – Communauté Karanki- Magdalena (B, D)

Visit the well-known indigenous market in Otavalo for an arts and crafts shopping adventure. Visit Peguche known for its weavers, visit a wind instruments workshop, Cotacachi known for the manufacture of leather goods, Cuicocha crater lake.

Arrive to Magdalena Community overight at one of the community houses.

Day 4: Magdalena Karanki Community Train Ride – Salinas (B, L)

Magdalena Community discover this hidden mountain niche through a series of activities; horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking. Then drive to Ibarra and catch the “Liberty Train”, landscapes provide a magical setting as you pass through mysterious tunnels, cross bridges spanning canyons and gullies, and admire a unique biodiversity. Then arrive in the Afro-Ecuadorian community of Salinas, well known for its agricultural activities.

Overnight in Quito.

Day 5: Quito – Cotopaxi – Baños – Riobamba (B)

On the way to Baños admire highest active volcano on Earth, Cotopaxi, in Baños admire its beautiful scenery of waterfalls. Then drive south to Riobamba for overnight.

Day 6: Riobamba – Devil’s Nose Train Ride – Ingapirca Ruins (B,BL)

Start your day with a drive through some of the most picturesque indigenous areas of the country. Take the Devil’s Nose train ride, continue your way south to the Ingapirca Ruins, then arrive to Cuenca for overnight.

Day 7: Cuenca – City Tour (B)

By far the most accessible and unspoiled rainforest on the planet. Ecuadorís Amazon region presents an array of National Parks and Biological Reserves holding the highest biodiversity per square meter in the world. We offer multiple tour options: from jungle treks to canoe rides, following trails between massive ancient trees and rivers weaving through breathtaking biodiversity and exceptional wildlife.

Day 8: Cuenca – El Cajas National Park (B)

Drive to El Cajas National Park.
This area is known for its beautiful landscapes with at least 200 lagoons, like the famous La Toreadora.

After lunch, drive to Guayaquil for overnight.

Day 9: Guayaquil (B)

Transfer out. End of services.
